It would be stupid to give a game a lower score just because it's "pretty much the same"... If it's pretty much the same, give it the same score, is it a bit better, give it a better score... Remakes like Metal Gear Solid: Substance get even higher scores while they are identical, and fans agree with it. Super Mario Galaxy 2 has tons of new stuff, it's not an Add-On like Super Street Fighter 4, it deserves every 10 it gets!
