Yeah but i didn't claim that english is the norm , I just said that you were wrong to think 20 year ago english was more strong.
Also the whole conversation was about English Voice VS Japan Voice, nobody provided proofs that japanese or american was better at localizing or traducting.
Itagaki and I were just saying that you can't say that one language traduction is better than an other if you can't understand the language because you will not be able to hear the language default and you can't argue that.
Also Rutea7 was the first to said english sucks compare to japanese one so Itagaki just took the defense of english (and me too).
If Rutea7 had said 'I prefer japanese over english' that would be correct but he just said that english suck so we got the right to say 'No you are wrong'.

Don't worry i'm not biais against japanese if you check my game I prefer japanese game (Nintendo ,Capcom etc) and I really like touhou and their japanese fan video from niconico (english video too). Also for me the english version of japanese games are good too my ear so I think it will be a good idea to stop fighting because is just a matter of opinion. Your chocobo avatar is cute.

since you have a wii you must be aware of the TERRIFYING arc rise fantasia english dub, just because you havent played a game with a lousy dub doesnt mean that some dubs are just terrible work that can be easily outshined (or even tramped upon) by any lousy fandub.
i'll get a lot of cr*p for this but i hated the dub for ffx, it was terribly annoying. granted it was the first ff to have voice overs we can cut some slack but it's still terrible apart from a couple of voices.
in this generation of gaming that kind of LOUSY and poor localisation work is just sad, it's not like we just started having the japanese games localised.
not looking for a fight just saying my opinion. it cant be changed and i dont need to show you sources, everyone here has seen videos of lousy voice overs.
