english voices in japanese games/animes most of the times tend to suck, and one of the excuses for that is that they're japanese games so the english voice actors wont catch the "feelings" of the storyline

 

Because most japanese game storylines are nonsense with innappropiate banter for the situations.

that explains why you love RE5 so much.

 

I knew someone would bring up RE, but its a great exception to the rule since it ignores the usual japanese copy+paste plots/characters and has always used English voice acting, even in Japan.

the storyline is good or the voice acting is good ? because neither implies to any RE game.
