Red Faction was lego destructable.
Like every building was out of plastic pieces not bigger then 20 inch.
I have yet too see a game where you are in a building and the third floor crashes down while you are standing at it, because someone hit with the RPG an important wall in the first floor which made parts pf the buildings collaps. Or that a building collaps since all the explosions around it made it unstable.
Fully destructable is not whats important whats important is physically correct destructable.
At best KZ3 will have B:BC2 like destruction. I would appreciate that since it adds a lot of fun to the game imo. At the moment environmental destructions are skripted non existant or Wormslike destruction were exactly that part you hit is away and the rest changed at best a texture layer. we wont see real Destruction in this gen not even next gen maybe the next next gen.
Real Physics will change the games completly It will be atleast an impact as big as 3d. But since its coming slowly over decades people wont even mention it.
KZ3 will offer some more destruction but people should expect not more then in other games. Also this 3d thing makes me really suspicous.
I will buy it definetly first week or month since I loved KZ2 and the improvments are way bigger then I thought they would be.
Kz1 was meh KZ2 was great and KZ3 is hopefully gona be one of the best FPS this Gen.
Kz3 could proof there is more then enough power left. If they realize what they said plus KZ2 graphics maybe even some slight improvments here and there it could be really a technical showcase for PS3.
10times bigger levels would also destroy the argument that KZ2 looks just so good because its the scale is so small.
If we see some destructions it would be nice maybe we will see even some maps where all buildings can be destroyed. Even though I doubt you will be able to destroy big parts of a city center with an RPG.
