Anyway, on topic I'm not really liking the artstyle. It's like they took the TvC proportions (which worked great for a simple celshaded style to reflect anime), rendering out rather than texturing details and then applying a lot of shading and lighting filters on top. It doesn't really reminds me of American comics, it's actually reminds me more of plasticy mid-90s CG. :/
Stills won't tell the whole picture though, how it actually looks in motion is what counts so hopefully the final effect is much better.
