Each console has their own strengths within their respected libraries, but I've got to vote for the X360 overall. At first glance it would appear that the PS3 is better for me than the X360 because it presumably attracts more Japanese developed titles which i honestly prefer over western developed games, however when i compare both libraries i find myself wanting a lot more X360 titles and exclusives more than what is available on the PS3.

These are the primary reasons for my decision to opt for an X360 over a PS3. People seem to have these gripes with the X360 like hardware failures and online subscription fee but i don't have any problems with these. I've had my X360 for a year and a couple of months and it still works just fine.
Paying for online isn't much of a problem for me either, i never really considered myself an online gamer before but its very rewarding and fun for a lot of games, i couldn't really care less for the single-player campaign in most of the popular online games such as Halo and Call of Duty; the online modes though, are very fun and addicting. They're never perfect, but they're incredibly fun and i always come back to play. That's replay value for you.
There are a lot of online features on the console which i admittedly overlook as well, but i imagine many people would appreciate them more than myself. Then there's the fact that many of my casual gaming friends have dished out the cash for an X360 because its library is largely the same as the PS3's but the console itself is cheaper and the online service is superior. Like most casual gamers they love online multiplayer and we always have a great time playing together.

Yes - for me at least - the X360 is definitely the stronger console in almost all area's. I am however, looking to pick up a PS3 sometime soon.
