Wait... You're basically saying that Native 1080p may not be "true" 1080p?
Hum... as far as I know, native 1080p is 1920x1080 pixels. GT5 runs at a native 1280x1080. Which isn't 1080p by any strech possible.
You clearly don't make any sense.
