Well the "advantage" homosexual people have is... unless they are with their significant others or at a gay club... it's hard to pick out a gay person to be mean too. Well unless that person knows you, but blind hate towards a group is ineffective once you actually get to know people from that group.
There is a lot more to go on all the Civil Rights fronts... which is always the danger of such things... usually people get over a big obstacle and then just delare it done.
