yea i don't see that either. but based on Ps3 possibly being on the market longer. well i'l put it like this. if they discontinue wii in 2012 or 2014

, ps3 has the potintial to pass wii in total sells by 2016. and thats only if PS3 grows by 2m 2011 and 2012 or does something i have no analysis for. i did a mock up of this for somebody once. now heres my analysis. im not saying it's possible or will or won't happen, but here goes:

analysis for 2016

PS3 124m

Wii 120m

Wii 120 million seems a good low end estimate, the PS3 won't make 100 million though.

Also I think the strategy analytics "prediction" had a time limit of the end of 2012 too... that's 2.5 years from now... and is about 3.5 years from when they made the prediction.
