Just think of all the games Sony has yet to reveal:
1. Syphon Filter
2. Starhawk
3. Jaffe's game
4. Whatever games Liverpool/Cambridge/etc. are working on.
5. Resistance 3 (which sounds like it's going to be a big step up over R2, given the extra dev time)
6. InFamous 2
7. MotorStorm 3
Of course they're going to show the known sequels a bit early (well, LBP2 wasn't a known sequel, but given it's coming out this year, they couldn't wait for E3). On the other hand, numbers 1-4 on my list would all be candidates for a big E3 reveal. Even Resistance 3 could be an E3 reveal, since it seems like they're trying to kickstart the franchise with the third installment, and if it's set for mid to late 2011, E3 would be a good place to announce it anyhow.
