(Well, not so much buy as convince my PS3 owning friend whose PS3 I currently possess to buy it)
I haven't really been keeping up to date with MNR, the things I've heard are "it's really good" and the contents of this thread here

5 of the 6 points raised there are reasons why I love Mario Kart, and it seems that this game is similar in many respects
So my questions are
How is the content creation system? Please use either LBP or Spore as reference points if possible because I've played them.
Are the items actually similar to Mario Kart in how they work?
How many racers are there in each race?
Does the game control well? And does it use sixaxis btw?
and finally, if I own and love mario Kart, will I find enough new in here to warrant a purchase?
