I don't know I was thinking the same but new IPs are hard to come back and for me this generation my favorite new IPs are
Assassin's Creed, Eternal Sonata, The World Ends With You, Apollo Justice (not sure if I would call this new but i will anyways), Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, Resonance of Fate, LBP, Uncharted, Naruto Ultimate Storm (again not sure), MadWorld, Bayonetta, and I have yet to play No More Heroes which is a shame.......
but the tally is West 5 East 7 or 5 if you do not include Naruto and Apollo Justice but there are plenty of other franchieses I have yet to try so who knows but I would say for its pretty even.
