The significant factor is not the hardware but the software used to drive the machine. Microsoft has put considerable effort into Natal and Natal related endeavours. To say the marginal quantity of software development Sony spent on the Eyetoy + Move is comparable is like saying the development effort of PS3 OS + related Sony OS is in the same ball park compared to the development of Windows 7 or even remotely close to Windows Mobile 7 as another example.
