There is only 1 shovelware title, Carnival Games, in the Wii's top 20. The Wii survives (and thrives) on several factors, primarily first part shovelware and appeal to the expanded audience, and shovelware is most of it.

And Everybody's Golf 3 made the shortlist of best selling PS2 games...

 

Shovelware is not a Wii-specific phenomenon. Heck, the Atari 2600 and NES had vastly more shovelware yet everyone remembers them as classics because they also had great titles to offer, as does the Wii.

that is unless you consider wii play, wii sports, wii fit, wii sports resort, etc, NOT shovelware in which case we really have nothing to discuss..

shovelware is shovelware, I could careless who makes it.
