Surely it will because, as already mentioned in this thread the games which specifically don't work/sell on the Wii are the hardcore type games. Surely Sony should be trying to differentiate their new control scheme from the Wii by it doing different(see, hardcore) types of games. By discouraging this type of thing on Move then surely 3rd parties will just bring out what they perceived to work on the Wii. Which means mini game compilations and so- called shovelware. It seems to me Sony are saying :- Don't bring games to our platform that won't sell. Not:- Don't bring bad games to our system. Unfortunately these are two different things. |
and why would it be a bad thing if 3rd party developer's that already make game's for the Wii know that their game will work on the PS3. except for one key factor the PS3 has the EYETOY that can add abilities that the Wii does not get. so one it help's secure 3rd party developer's toward making multiplatform that would of been only on Wii to now that they could make the game also for the PS3.
with of course add function in the game not found on the Wii..Maybe some augmented reality function but still an added function that would not be on the Wii ver.
with DLC being done that way on game's anymore this would not be a suprise if this is going the same route.
