What horrorgames is "must-plays"?

So, like some of you maybe have understood because of my Silent Hill thread, I am going to get into horror games this summer :)

I am now sitting here thinking about the Resident Evil Series for example. I am thinking of getting Resident Evil 1 (for wii) and I was wondering if I should start with that one, or if I should play Residen Evil Zero first?

Also, what other horrorgames are "must-plays", and what games should I play in wich order they should be played!

I have really never played any horrorgames before, so I am a noob at the subject!

 

The ones I have on my list so far is:

Silent Hill 1-4

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

Resident Evil 1

Dead Space

Alan Wake
