That was pretty funny. It's bugging me to hear about publishers charging so much for DLC as well as attacking used sales on consoles. I can just imagine Activision releasing $15 map packs on a subscription based online multiplayer (ie - Call of Duty) with a $10-20 activation code if you bought it used.

I just hope that Valve can keep it up. Speaking of TF2, it's impressive that the game has had over 100 updates with tweaks, new maps, gameplay modes, weapons, hats and achievements. Not only that, it supports dedicated servers, mods and you can pick up TF2 for only $20 or even get the Orange Box (which includes TF2) for $30.

I don't know about the 'Valve is GOD' option. Sure, they're doing some good things, but I'd want them to keep having stuff like competition so they can keep improving Steam and making awesome games. Speaking of which, when are they going to release some damn Episode 3 information?

While I'm at it... where the heck is the Black Mesa mod?
