| Severance said: i am just confused at how low the scores are i can agree with the combat being slow , old school-like , but a lot of the cons are from the storyline. i mean if you look at JRPGs this gen for example , Star Ocean had a terrible storyline and voice overs, Resonance of Fate had a very straight forward storyline , the reviewers however didn't give those as Cons and rated them higher than WKC. its just a lot of people don't understand JRPGs made by Level 5 never had a deep and emotional storyline but rather the sense of adventure and charm that they do very well. |
becaus th stry seemed been ther dun tht, nthing was original about it and the chrcters sucked. atleast rof hd hints of originality evn if evntually the story wsnt tht good overall. There are only 2 jrpg this gen (on consoles) whch hve had a story/chrcters that have been praised by majority of reviewers they are valkyria chronicles & final fantasy xiii. Lsot oddessy's story & chrcters wer well recieved too genrally.
