Being an ex Nintendo Fanboy (In the N64 and GBC era) Having since moved on to PS, my opinion is rather biased.

I love the 360 but I don't like how MS milks money out of you with everything you do. To play online you must have the Gold membership which costs $50 a year, and on top of that I had to buy a $99 Wireless adapter (was initially using a 50 ft. Ethernet cable because my room isn't close to the Network adapter, One day my mom got pissed after tripping over it so many times she cut it in half.) etc.

Needless to say I don't have any of those problems with my PS3 and on top of that I get Blu-Ray and games that appeal to me. Most 360 games don't appeal to me, with the exception of Alan Wake, and Mass Effect 2, and Gears 1+2.

Another thing about PS3's games is I think we get a better variety of games compared to 360, we get platformers, first person shooters, third person shooters, racing, create play share, action adventures, jrpgs, wrpgs, suspense, etc. and we have at least one or more AAA titles in each genre all because of Sony's great first party developers. With 360 we get games that fit into those genres but the only ones that stand out are shooters.
