Screw that. I hate having information lumped into megathreads where anything interesting is lost in a flood of posts. Let threads be made for information as it trickles in, then we can make an official thread near release to talk about the game post-release (by which point we'll have already learned just about everything there is to know).
I like gaf's rule. Official threads can't be made more than a week before release, and from that point on all talk is confined to the official thread until the thread eventually gets locked or dies.
