I wouldn't underestimate them that much... On PSP, any firmware above 5.03 is unhackable on a PSP with TA-088v3 mother board or higher. SONY's had these on the market for over a year and [not so much for the firmware but 5.5's been out for months] they still aren't hackable. SONY's getting a lot better at this.

True, same thing goes for the PSP Go. I think no one can play pirate games on PSP Go. Maybe that was one of the major use for PSP Go: trying a different approach against pirate games before they release a completely new model. Also, seems like people can't play pirate games online anymore on any PSP model.
