Killzone 3 has one thing on it's side, exclusivity. Therefore, it has a HIGHER chance of proving that it can pull if off. Does that guranteee it, nope, but it does give it a greater chance.

Crysis was a PC exclusive, but it still didn't pull it off. I'm not saying it's impossible, and I want it to be true (even though I probably won't be buying the game).
Even though the argument that "devs can use a singular platform instead of a multitude of PCs" comes into play, I still don't see it happening.
My prediction: We won't see FULLY destructible enviroments in a FPS until next-gen or Crysis 3, which ever happens first.

I wasn't aware that Crysis was touted as having fully destrctible environments prior to release? Either way, Crysis could only run with the specifications of a specific PC. Not everyone could run it the way it was intended. Killzone 3 isn't plagued with that situation, making for greater possiblities.

thats write. i mean they spent years creating the engin for the graphics. know thats out of the way all they gota do is fine to it ect and they could easily do this. shore i wont be perfect but in my mind this is the next step up from graphics as far a fps games r conserned. and of corse crysis aint gona hav fully destructable world. its an open world game it would take incredable amouts of time to pull of where as killzone is much more linear so it would be alot less diffocult
