Came here to bring the same point. 3D + Desctructive environment make me worry about the graphics. A videogame should never de-evolve. I refrain from calling K3 a contender to U2, GOW3 and K2 in graphics supremacy until proven that this additions do not take their toll in the graphics department.
But oh well, Battlefield Bad Company has shown us that you can make destructive environments and look good (even though the game was multiplatform which leaves even more hope for K3 being developed exclusively for the Playstation Beast). I doubt that it will look as bad as cheap shit Modern Warfare with its cheap-ass Tony Hawk game engine.

Knowing Sony, they'll make sure the graphics evolve. As I said in another thread, I can see a Drake's Fortune - Among Thieves type scenario. If not, it'll match KZ2 but add all the newest features, which would still be a major +. I'm excited about the snow, knowing who's backing them on the tech.
