Why I rated so!
Wii - I gave Wii a five because while I love some of the recent games (NSMBW) this spring really never saw all that many steller games. I'd say this years line up was pretty mediocre and I haven't purchased a new Wii game yet this year.
PS3 - Their are a few amazing games like GOW III to showcase the PS3's strength. But other then that the PS3 isn't performing good enough to warrant a high score.
X-Box 360 - Their are a few big titles like Alan Wake that have graced our screens and several great third party offerings. But for me the Halo Reach Beta made this year so far the best on 360.
PC - Nothing that monumental has been released for PC so far this year making it over all below a five. Theirs just nothing worth buying really, at least nothing unique.
PSP- This year in my opinion has sucked for PSP, last year I bought a few titles but so far this year I haven't purchased a single game. Sure their are a few bigger titles availible but nothing worth the 39.99$ it costs for a new game.
DS- Pokemon Heart Gold Soul Silver are among my favorite titles and a few other well placed titles make the year for the DS not half bad. Yes I've gotta say so far it isn't one of the better years.
Notice I never gave any of the consoles higher then eight. That is because so far none of them deserve a 9 or 10. Even X-Box barely deserves an 8. Also keep in mind I didn't include the news of titles in my decision, I only rated the consoles based on software availible in stores today.
