I remember at the time there was a huge backlash against Star Fox Adventures, which I thought was really undeserved. I think it was because Rare had just been sold to Microsoft so Nintendo fans were like "well good riddance because they're not as good as they were." And while there may have been evidence of that since, I don't really think there was any in SFA.
Wii Play also seems to be one of the most hated games around, but I actually like it. I imagine it's because of its admittedly galling position as the biggest selling "unbundled" game ever, when the only reason it sells is because it's bundled with a controller. But still, I think it's a cool little game. Fishing, Find Mii, Tanks are really good.
