They have the money to do it that way, I mean last year they made a yearly profit of around $US10 billion, and they have a pretty big kitty saved up for a rainy day. Not to mention many of these products are the pet projects of individual employees at Google which get Google's blessing to turn into an actual product. I don't know if this will work either, but having TV's with built in Android or ChromeOS would be great. |
