Well, at this point any fanbase that finds themselves sitting in last place should probably expect to be lied to on a regular basis.  At least Wada didn't say he'd cut his own head off or anything. ;)

This would make sense if the last place system didn't just handily defeat the one ahead of it regarding the game. The PS3 is miles behind the 360 in the US and look closely @ FFXIII's #s. Nevermind Others.

Eh, same could be said last gen for stuff like Tales of Symphonia or SoulCalibur 2... and yet somehow Abyss and SC3 still skipped GC entirely, despite their predecessors selling best on it.  When you're not an overwhelming market leader, you're going to get jerked around regardless, just sort of the way it goes.  And if you're the overwheling market leader but you're Nintendo, you'll probably still get jerked around. ;)

Seriously though, PS3 has it much, much better than most consoles in it's position have before.  Be thankful it still got FFXIII at all.
