Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo said: Lol... they already started copying Nintendo. Where would Sony and Microsoft be without Nintendo? The answer is that they wouldn't have started gaming. |
It's funny how you say that Sony and Microsoft are copying Nintendo when Nintendo are implimenting it into their handheld and it was announced THIS YEAR whereas, Sony and Microsoft have both been working on implimenting 3D into their home consoles for quite some time. But no, keep on badmouthing something that you didn't bother to read anything about. ;)

You have a point, but it hinges on the assumption that Nintendo hadn't been working on the 3DS before it's announcement. Just because Sony and Microsoft announced their intention to use 3D before Nintendo did, it doesn't mean that Nintendo's years of work on the 3DS mean nothing. I mean, it's not like 3D is something they could tack on at the end of development. They must have been working on it for years.

It actually doesn't really hinge on the assumption that Nintendo hadn't been working on the 3DS before it's announcements. 3D is becoming all the rage so nobody knows who actually came up with the idea to impliment 3D first. Not only that but there is no way that you can tell me that a handheld system with 2 screens (that you supposedly won't need glasses to see) is going to use the same way of implimenting 3D as an HD gaming console (which iirc requires both glasses and a 3D TV. That's where my annoyance with the OPs statement about Microsoft copying Nintendo.

Fair enough. I think I misunderstood your original post because I didn't understand it in the context of what you were responding to. I agree with the bolded 100% though.
