Silent Hill 1: Worth to play?

I mean, if it was just about the story, sure, you don't need the original to understand 2. But to skip one of the PS1's (my favorite survival horror title) greatest survival horror classics is short changing yourself in the genre. Survival horror wouldn't be what it is today without a franchise like SILENT HILL, and you need to experience at least the first 4 to truly understand that.

AMEN to that...Silent Hill is the best survival horror ever...i wish for an amazing silent hill like the old ones...
