I think its a good way to express dissatisfaction with Muslim censorship of its leader.
The true merit of one's belief in God is giving the right to others to disagree with their view of their prophet.
I don't have a problem with people crapping on Jesus, because I know that they did the same to him in his own life time. Obviously, I never would. I do find stuff like Jesus Christ: Vampire Slayer and the MadTV Terminator 3 sketch beyond hilarious, though.
Even when it comes to race relations, I think the best way is to understand that life is hilarious, funny, steriotypical. Make fun of me for being a typical white cracker, I don't care. If I, or someone else makes fun of a black guy for watermelon and KFC, should he not care about that kind of joke, it proves that we can truly get along together, despite our differences. I mean, I make fun of my fiancee to her face all the time as jokes - that doesn't mean I hate her, it means I can be fun around her.
