I'm just going to go out on a limb here and guess that the person paying the 10 grand wasn't doing it out of rarity of Guitar Hero III, but for their opinion on the father's disciplinary action, and a great deal of disposable wealth.
Which of course makes me hope that this is legit, and makes me worry that someone will see it as a chance to make a quick buck and concoct a similar story about their son doing cocaine and as such, selling their PS3 on Ebay.
