I think the first time playing any Tales game can be a great experience for jrpg gamer and instantly become one of your favorites. Tales of Symphonia was the first Tales game that I played and is my favorite jrpg since Chrono Cross which came out over 10 years ago! I've played Symphonia 2 and Vesperia since and both of them are among my favorite jrpg games of this generation, but not quite as special as that first Tales game I played in Tales of Symphonia!
