Demon's Souls.

As much as I love Demon's Souls (it's my favourite game this gen, by far), the game does have some flaws. 

It's very unbalanced in some weapon types, especially when it comes to how Asian swords swing speeds don't match up to their overall WT. Plus, it has a lot of exploits and glitches, especially the Black Skeletons in world 4-2 being able to Lunge-Stab you through walls.  

WTF?!?  Seriously?  That is fucking epic!  Makes me want to buy the game even more.  

Hahaha, yup it happens quite a lot actualy. When I was farming for Pure Bladestones from those guys, I got Lunge-Stabbed more than a dozen times through the walls. 

It can be a pain though, one time it happened to me when I was on NG+++, with over 3M souls. I lost all of them and couldn't get them back because I was killed before I could reach the bloodstain.

The game's pretty unforgiving  

This is exactly why it is my favorite game of this gen.  Gaming in general has gotten a bit to easy for my tastes lately.

That's why I consider it to be the best game this gen too

No game has given me the same feelings of accomplishment that Demon's Souls has given me. Finding that elusive Pure Bladestone after tauning and destroying Black Phantom Black Skeletons for 7 hours straight. Destroying the False King Allant with 1 M souls on my character and sweating through all the battle (on NG+), getting through a mob of Black Phantom Giant Goblins unscathed (this is by far the hardest thing to do in the game, BP Giant Goblins make almost every boss look like weaklings in comparison), finding that Dragon Bone Smasher, upgrading it to +5 and becoming an instrument of death and destruction wherever I went...

So many good times and good memories from Demon's Souls
