yes i have been living under a rock? so your saying sony hasn't been watching the change in innovatoin? if they weren't watching they wouldn't becoming out with these control's. i don't think natal has anything to do with nintendo's innovation. Natal eyetoy fits better. but even as a PS3 fan i can say natal might be better then eyetoy. and as a nintendo fan i can say they can't beat 1:1 tracking.

The point of the post you were originally responding to was that Sony doesn't have the advantage of these motion controls being new. The Wii wowed gamers, Move can't and won't have the same effect. It's coming four years too late for that (not three like originally stated).

thanks for clarifying. it seems like we found commen ground. agreed. what hppend to the mario statment?

P.S. am i giving up to soon?

The Mario statement was deleted by the previous poster because he only responded to the other part of your post, it wasn't relevant to his own post.

I can offer you a response though, if that is what you want. Mario did help Nintendo last generation, but obviously not in the meaning of domination, but rather survival. Sunshine and Mario Kart sold more than 6m copies each and some other Mario spinoff titles crossed the million mark as well. The selling power of Mario shouldn't be underestimated. The real difference when it comes to Mario between the Gamecube and the Wii generations is that Nintendo this time continued the main line of the franchise. When looking at the sales, it's clear that 3D Mario platformers can't replace the 2D platformers. 2D Mario is like Halo and Gran Turismo combined and obviously neither Microsoft nor Sony have a franchise that big. New Super Mario Bros. Wii helped the Wii a lot (and still does).

I am not sure what you mean by giving up though. Regarding what?

rol? didn't know it was you but. both was where LoL moments.
