OT: It was meh. Making something deadpan doesn't make it funnier and jokes shouldn't be predictable.

I'm still angry that I had to watch that show two weeks in a row.  Two weeks ago to watch the Betty White episode because I was stuck at somebodies house and last week because I guess The Wife wanting to watch it because Alec Baldwin and Tom Petty was on it (though Tom Petty is awesome).

Watching those two episodes reaffirmed my belief that the SNL writers can run a joke into the ground like no other.
