The more popular something is, the more it is hated because stupidity becomes more apparent and grows from the larger brand of a particular subject.
Take comfort in knowing that it's statistically shown that Islam will surpass Christianity as the world's most widely believed religion some years into the future and thus will become the new laughing stock in the world.
You should be pleased to note that due to the combined contempt and discrimination regarding believers of Islam, they will, most likely, be hated even more than Christians have in recent years.
So, don't worry yourself. Believers of your faith should live in relative ease in the bright future ahead of your people.
