Play & Charge kits are $20. I believe extra rechargable batteries (the MS kind) are $10. So you'd only need 1 play & charge kit + 1 extra rechargable battery - it will only cost $30 for 2 rechargable kits.
You do have to buy the MS wireless connector for a wireless connection. HOWEVER, I do believe there are other options out there. Check with the MS forums, or some other forums aside from this one - alot of people have done things to get around the fact that the X360 doesn't have a wireless router built in.
