It is interesting how much pull Pachter is getting. Apparently he got an "award" for being most accurate in his predictions, and now he is like the industry guru, with people thinking he is all that, and what he says is critical. He has like hundreds of millions in funds he manages with his company. People make him out now like he is a person to be trusted. And they yammer on and on and on here.
If you want to ignore him, here is a bit of info on how accurate he is with his predictions (right around 25% he is with his predictions, with a number of his right ones being fairly obvious. He even backtracked away from correct predictions to be wrong):
