a lot of people are saying that it's only being boosted because of a price cut. Well, sure, it was droped to $399, but did you also take into consideration that $399 is a much more attractive price point? The 360 sold wonderfully worldwide, at $399 (not including Japan, since they hate the 360) but still, $400 is a point that a LOT more people are willing to pay for, and then add the Sony brand loyalty, and that results in a CONSTANT stream of sales.....it's still selling well half way into December
I mean, a lot have said that the Japanese are just liking the new SKU and it will wear off......if Sony made a new SKU at $249, and sales increased, would you say that it was "because of a price cut and a new SKU, sales will go back down" or would you realize that the only thing holding PS3 back is the price?
