I guess technically I started in the Second generation, as my family had an Atari 2600 when I was born. However, the first console that was 'mine' was an NES given to me when I was 3 years old with Super Mario Bros and The Legend of Zelda. I consider myself having started in kind of an overlap between both the second and third generations.
