heres a few of my predictions for Sony's next console...

1. the PS4 will not be called "Playstation 4" it will have a specific name somthing new and refreshing like "The Playstaion __________" <--(insert somthing creative here)

2. It will still use a cell type processor and all PS4's will have backwards compatability with PS3 games from day one. This means trophies earned on PS3 games will carry over to the new console.

3. Bluray disk games will hold 80-100 GB max

4. PSN will still be free to use but sony will introduce a optional premium account for users willing to pay for exclusive content.

5. Sony will beef up their controller. Its time for a facelift. buttons will remain in the same positions but the controller will fill the users hands more like the xbox controller. They will definately remove the sixaxis.

bluray discs are expected to hold 1tb by 2011 end,Pioneer are developing them

and trophies on PSN has nothing to do with CELL

yeah but theres no way there going utalize 1tb disks in the ps4, so i dont think its probable

and you right trophies have nothing to do with the cell but backwards compatibility on the ps4 will allow trophies to carry over

"backwards compatibility on the ps4 will allow trophies to carry over"

how,the trophies are on PSN.if its backward compatible then you could play ps3 games on ps4 and earn them but even if not backward comparible, trophies will show on PSN

Also whether they can put games of 1TB on PS3 or not,Blu-rays will be that much as all BLU-RAY players can play those high capacity BD's even the PS3.

Also like last gen everybody said nobody will fill a blu-ray disc which is 10 times the size of a normal DVD,BUT games on PS3 are that big so nobody knows plus with the higher processing power even more space will be needed to get games to the next level

by the next gen games will reach atleast 200gbs if not 1tb and they will easily reach 500gbs size by PS4's last years as PS4 launches in 2012 and will sell till Sony's 10 years plan to 2022 and as we have seen in the recent years data usage is increasing at a very fast rate
