I would buy ANYTHING Sierra (tho Sierra is no more...fucking Activision) again if it was re-released.
As far as Sierra Franchises? Homeworld > Quest for Glory > Kings Quest > Space Quest. They are all awesome, but if I had to put them in order, this is it.
Ahh, awesome to hear. Im about 6 hours into FF8...still dont like it but I plan on finishing it this time.
