The DS3 is the most uncomfortable controller I have used. When you take any controller your Thumb remains in the the top left part of it, when using the DS3 they force us to move down the thumb and it is really painful specially when playing games that requires moving the left stick all the time (i.e. FIFA/PES). It is not ergonomic.
All of you that love DS3 just have gotten used to a bad ergonomic for playing with it during many many years.
The GC/360 controllers are thumb-friendly :).
