Could Halo: Reach be the best Halo since Halo: Combat Evolved?

Agreed. I liked the story of Halo 2 a lot, though I was a tad disappointed with the SP on my first playthrough, mainly because it didn't reach them epic, unreachable high of Halo:CE. However, I feel like Halo 2 was meant to be played on Legendary - when I went back and started it on Legendary, I had a blast, it was so challenging and fun - and the AI really seemed versatile.

The A.I. didn't seem versatile to me, they were way too scripted compared to the A.I. from the first game.
