Supercat, the premium service will be the answer, the psp2 may be a big deal but with the recent go debacle, I doubt there will be many lining up to buy this one unless it gets alot of things right which is always a toss up concerning new hardware iterations as far as sony is concerned (talkin about the psp). The premium service, however, will include features that most online gamers will want to pay for, and even if only an eighth of the psn userbase decides to upgrade to premium, then they will have made more money than it costs to implement such features which of course would include cross game chat among other things.
