For me personally, I want Sony to price it so they don't lose money on the hardware. If it ends up costing a $130 for a move, camera, and sub controller...so be it. If the games are of high quality the expense can be justified.

But I would like to see NEW game that push motion controls farther. Most of us have played Wii Sports and a variety of party games at this point. Give us something new. And please don't tack on or focus to heavily on adding motion controls to sequels of current games. I love Killzone 2 and Resistance. I would hate to see them dragged down because motion controls become front and center for their next iterations.

I would launch in early September to give 3 months of advertising and demo kiosk before the holiday rush.  They need to have a move set up where ever possible.

So you're saying Sony should price the PS3 back to $600.

Resistance: Fall of Man, Virtua Fighter 5, MotorStorm and Oblivion were great games, that Sony felt justified the price of the PS3. Consumers did not agree.

Where did you infer that from?  If your stating their initial launch price, Sony's justification was the cost of Blu-Ray...and rightfully so. It had nothing to do with games.  Stand alone players were priced between $800 and $1000 at the time.  In the end, the initial high price of the PS3 is going to payoff.  They are not running into the disc size constraints that the 360 is and the cell still has room to grow.  The PS3 has a legitimate chance to exceed the 10 year life span that Sony wants.

Now that the PS3 manufacturing cost is belived to be under $300 I would think it's in their and shareholder interest to not be taking a loss on hardware anymore.  If they can run a move package including the system for $350 and still turn a small profit...great.  If the number needs to be $399, so be it.  At some point all the game companies need to make money.  They can't keep giving away their product.

And again, if it's going to cost $130 for the complete move package, there is nothing wrong with that.  They just need to make sure that there are games to justify it.  Early adopters will pay more than your average consumer.  As the cost to produce the controllers comes down, so should the price.

Remember people had no problem dropping $100 on Wii Fit.  People thought it was a new experience.  Sony needs to create that same stigma for Move.

Ok so Sony should have priced the PS3 at $800 or more and you would have bought it.
