Not intending to offend anyone, but of course not!!! Gaming is for fun and entertainment OF ALL SORTS! I own NEARLY every console all the way back to oldschool Atari. (And realize not everyone can afford to do that--that's cool and understandable--doesn't make them a fanboy, just a buddy of unfortunate circumstances). But that doesn't mean that the "other" console doesn't have it's own strengths and even "superior" features. Lol, MS, Sony, & Nintendo don't honestly give a shit about you and your foolish, diehard, fanboyism--their allegiance is to the #'s & $$$. I choose to put the fanboy patheticness behind me and enjoy EVERY unique feature and IP of each console-- whether it's the casual party/family gaming of the wii, its more reasonable costs, its unique games, & rich tradition...OR Microsofts killer FPS line-up, amazing LIVE features, ease of use, and online gaming...OR Sony's killer RPG family, cutting edge technology, HD/Blu-ray movies, and huge library of games. Sorry to offend, but I'd die if I was naieve enough to not support all three. Long ago I was somewhat of a fanboy but found out what I was missing out on. Each offers a unique and fun entertainment experience...AND THAT IS WHAT A TRUE GAMER CARES ABOUT...not a wannabe forum fanboy.
Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.
Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)
