One of the BIG complaints i've been hearing is "the levels are hard with no checkpoints" does this sound like another game to anyone?
how about Demon's souls? THIS game got FANTASTIC reviews....

This game seams like it should be a winner! HUGE enemies sweet guns and 4 player co-op? why are the reviews so bad? |
Demon's Souls has a great design, good weapon system, an interesting online option, great boss battles, it was rewarding and it was as fun as frustrating. It's the spiritual succesor of great 8-bit motherf**ers like Ghosts N' Goblins. Lost Planet 2 has a bad design, a not so good weapon system, boss battles that look good but are limited to "shoot the thing in the bright spot", a poor online system, boring missions and it's just another example of how developers spent time and effort trying to make their games look good instead of I don't know ... fun.
