You seriously need to play some FF1 (Virtual Console) or FF4DS.

I've been playing FF4DS, and I consider the final boss to be LITERALLY impossible.

I know, it's hard as FF4DS is really hard, but not impossible as I beat it :D, but isn't FFIV DS the difficulty harder than the FFIV on SNES? Wasn't FFIV made easier for the US i could be wrong.

But FFXIII was quite difficult... compared to most of the either ones I thought at least.

FFIV for the US was extremely nerfed. I literally cried when I fought the first adamantoises in the game. On the JP version they can destroy even a Lvl 70 party, while in the US version you can easily overcome them with a LVL 30 party.
