Pachter: "I was right, Wii HD is coming this year after all!"

What's actually funny is some of the Nintendo fans reacting by pointing out all the ways PS3+Move isn't a Wii HD.

Come on guys and gals (if any of you are gals). Have you never heard of the phrase "I'm not going to dignify that with a response"?

I don't think anyone here really takes what Pachter said seriously, and at the end of the day Pachter is not really THAT stupid as to seriously believe what he said.

I suppose some people think Pachter's comment was deadly serious because they truly believe, with every part of their inner gamer, that Move is a replica of the Wiimote, only black and round (although Black Wii even takes out one of those points of difference.

Of course what Pachter is exposing is his own inconsistency because he made a previous prediction that Natal would be vastly more successful in terms of establishing a decent install base than Move. Hence a previous Michael Pachter would have said that Natal was the main threat to Wii dominance. Though maybe it was just that he came up with the PS3+Move = Wii HD one liner while he was soaking in the bath recently and he wanted to try to use it in some lame attempt at sagacity.
